The winery is close to other attractions. Friendly, professional and knowledgable staff. Restaurant (Vintage is the name) was excellent. Italian cuisine that was delicious. Homemade breads. Alfredo made for each order. We were a party of 3 adults. Waited 20 minutes on a busy Saturday...MoreThank you for this in depth review! I am sharing your comments with our kitchen. They work hard to prepare excellent dishes every time. Come see us again when you are in the area!

Wilstem is an 1,100 acre property located between French Lick and Paoli Indiana. We feature animal encounters, zipline tours, ATV tours, horseback trail riding tours, and lodging.
We did not realize that this place was so expensive. It had been advertised as a great place to bring the family. It is beautiful but way too expensive for the average family. We wound up just buying food to feed the animals in the petting zoo which was fun.

The French Lick West Baden Museum is located in downtown French Lick in a newly refurbished historic building between Highway 56 and Maple Street. Look for the Hagenbeck-Wallace circus banners and the gold figure of Pluto in the window - not to mention our logo is our sign.
A little difficult to find as it is more in the car park than on the street but yet another enjoyable way to find out the history of French Lick. Goes to show that a lot of people can be convinced of the merits of something that just is not the case. So much for the benefits of a laxative! Also incredible to discover the size of the travelling circus that called this place home. The models were stunning and the history of the two hotels fascinating.

Paoli Peaks is a great place to bring your family and friends for some winter fun! We offer Skiing, Snowboarding, and Snow Tubing during mid-December through mid-March. Take some time looking around and checking out what Paoli Peaks has to offer.
Took my kids (ages 9 and 10) to Paoli this past weekend to ski for their first time. Easy time parking, getting passes, and equipment. The staff were all very helpful. Lessons every hour on the hour. Our instructor (Ron) was excellent... very patient and focused on the areas the kids needed to improve on. The snow is manmade so not as fluffy as the real stuff, but adequate to learn on. Only complaints are that there are some very icy patches especially toward the bottom of the slopes. The lodge is very large, but I would have hoped it would have been warmer (it was ~ 9 degrees outside). Pretty extensive cafeteria with prices somewhat reasonable ($4 per large slice of pizza). Overall I highly recommend for beginners. Great place to learn.

I love Lost River. They offer the needed items if you want healthy and local and don't want to go to Walmart. The only drawback is price- the items are expensive BUT it's the only place like it so it's okay to pay as I want to support them. I come from a big city that has healthy markets everywhere so the prices are less expensive
GREAT service

If you're in the Paoli area and looking for something "out of the norm" to do, you will not be disappointed with a visit to the Envision Designs' facility. Their friendly staff will give you a unique opportunity of picking out fabrics and creating your very own, one-of-a-kind product. Their product line is endless, pretty much anything you envision they can design. Not only are the products gorgeous, they are also extremely well made. I purchased my first product over a year ago and the bag does not look "used" at all. If you and your friends are looking for a great "girls day", this i a great option. The best aspect about this company is that all of the profits made from the sales of these products go to fund activities at the First Chance Center facility, a program that services individuals with disabilities.
