"Known As Vegas Before Vegas" Decorative wrought iron gates flanked by native sandstone guard towers lend an aura of mystery of mystery and intrigue to the location of what was in the 1930s and 40s, a gambling ground rich and adventurous, mischievous, famous and infamous.
I would call this a presentation more than a tour. So wasn’t what we expected but still love the history and Vickie the researcher and presenter.
She has dug extensively into the secrets and history of the Top of the Hill hidden casino. She has a few artifacts. Put together a slide show and has a wealth of information to share.
She does take you outside to show where tunnels are believed to be. Show buildings and the old pool.
But as far as seeing any old casino rooms or tunnels.... that isn’t part of the tour which was disappointing. Still.... we were happy to learn the history and impressed with what Vickie has discovered with no financial backing. If resources stepped up and helped.... the tunnels could be dug and discovered. Uncovering part of our history.
I wouldn’t take children to this. You are sitting and in a small room listening to what Vickie has learned and watching her slide show. So unless your child is a history nerd.... leave them at home and come enjoy this yourself.
I hope everyone will spread the word about this hidden piece of history so the right person or company can provide the resources necessary to dig and uncover the tunnels etc.

Yes, it is hot during the summer but there is usually a lovely breeze and the music is different and exciting. You will see bands that you might not even know about , yet have the opportunity to enjoy. And the food trucks give you another type of opportunity to taste different cuisines. Bring your lawn chairs and definitely a blanket or lawn covering, little bugs love this as well and remember this is Texas, the land of the free.

Take a tour of the home of the Dallas Cowboys (American) football team.
We took the guided tour at the AT&T stadium (Eric was our guide) and we left the place extremely impressed. The tour starts at the Cowboys store where you can get literally anything you want with the best football team logo. The tour takes approximately 1,5 to 2 hours and opens the doors of the nicest places in there: the Club, the double suite, the cheerleaders locker room, the Cowboys locker room, the press room and, of course, the field itself. The stadium is a masterpiece of the architecture (the largest dome construction in the World) and impresses by the sizes of everything in there!

Located on 1,300 acres next to the Trinity River in the heart of north Arlington. Hiking and biking trails, playground and picnic areas, as well as diverse flora and fauna.
We went there for a walk. We were amazed that the path was paved and the park was well maintained. You are able to bring you dog and there are playgrounds. There were also areas to bbq. Great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Formerly named The Ballpark in Arlington, Ameriquest Field is the home of the Texas Rangers.
Awesome stadium. Not in downtown area like other modern stadiums, but they developed the stadium and area around so as to be aesthetically pleasing. I can't believe I read they area replacing it and it's not even 25 years old, because they want one with a roof. They couldn't have thought of that in 1994? Or are we just going soft?

Six Flags Over Texas is a world-class theme park conveniently located between Dallas and Fort Worth in Arlington, Texas. This family-favorite destination features over 35 thrilling rides and attractions, exciting shows, concerts, and special events. The park sits on a beautiful 212 acres featuring lush landscape with over 150,000 flowers and plants. Popular attractions include: The Texas SkyScreamer, Titan, New Texas Giant, Batman: The Ride, and Superman: Tower of Power. **New for 2013: soar high above Six Flags Over Texas at the world record 402 feet on the Texas Sky Screamer; a swing carousel ride that takes riders to breath-taking heights.
My family and I had a great time. My boys are 10 and 12. The roller coasters (Texas and Titan) are the best and we loved Riddlers Revenge. Superman was a let down because we were used to the Tower of Terror at Disney and Fireman Landing in Branson. The height is there for Superman but the drop is slow. Wednesday was not too crowded but Thurs and Fri after lunch was overcrowded. We had the flash pass on Thursday and that was great. We left early Friday because of the crowd. Food is good for an amusement park. We purchased the season pass and the season pass for dining. Rides were down from time but we had fun all three days at the park.

I was dreading this... but I loved it. I was worried my boys wouldn’t get to ride enough or that the rides would be too childish. It wasn’t bad at all. We rode just about everything they wanted to ride. They had plenty of thrills. The lockers, food, things that could be a headache... weren’t. It was a great day. Buy your waterproof phone case before you get onsite!

Very comfortable dog park for people and their four pawed friends. Loaded with shade trees and benches. Large wooded walking/sniffing area adjacent to the open grass space. Probably the cleanest dog park I've ever seen- kudos to the city of Arlington and, to all the polite patrons for taking good care of their pooches. Enjoy!

This popular convention, trade show and meeting venue offers flexible banquet, meeting and exhibit space; a friendly, professional staff; multiple hotel choices; and a fantastic location. Whether you're planning a convention, trade show, meeting, or special event, the Arlington Convention Center is the ideal location and we'll take great measures to ensure your next meeting's success!
I have attended several events at this convention center before writing this review. It is very huge inside and will fool you as to how large it is. The staff is courteous and helpful. The display areas are neat and isles are uncluttered except with people. These are well attended events almost always. Sometimes there are more than one event happening at this venue. Finding your way around is very easy. ATMs are onsite and snacks are usually available. The only problem is the advertising for the site on TV or online. You can go to their website to check the calendar or call Arlington Texas Convention Center phone number to set up a visit. I'm sure it will surprise you.
