The Panipat museum is located close to a canal of Yamuna river and it is 4-5 km away, in the other city of the main city. The museum presents the brief history of Panipat right from the time of Mahabharat when Lord Krishna asked Kauravas to give 5 cities as part of mediation to the Pandavas. One of those 5 cities was Panipat. The city has been of particular importance in Indian history as it was a gateway for foreign invaders to enter India. The Afghan, Persian and Mughal invaders fought battles at this place and won all the three of them against the Indian rulers to get an entry into India. The museum has a rich collection of artifacts, weapons, army attires, etc. during the war times and a must-visit place for history lovers. I have uploaded some of the pictures from the museum for people who have a desire of knowing ancient India history in a better way. I hope it helps. Let me know if you have any queries about the same.
