The birthplace of the tango is, like the dance itself, captivating, seductive and bustling with excited energy. Atmospheric old neighborhoods are rife with romantic restaurants and thumping nightlife, and Buenos Aires' European heritage is evident in its architecture, boulevards and parks. Cafe Tortoni, the city's oldest bar, will transport you back to 1858, and the spectacular Teatro Colon impresses just as it did in 1908. Latin America's shopping capital offers the promise of premium retail therapy along its grand, wide boulevards.

In this grand mansion, many fascinating items pay homage to Evita Peron, revered champion of the downtrodden Argentines. This museum was opened in 2002 upon Evita’s death.
Great museum in north Palermo. Entry cost 250ARS. Small museum with regular tours in Spanish. Not sure if they have English audio tours. Reception chap only spoke Spanish. They do have guided tours in Spanish which looked good : one was in progress during my visit. but my Spanish wasn’t fluent enough for me to keep up. Display takes you round the house and there is written information in Spanish and English by the displays. Takes you through her early life and ascendancy as first film star then political figure. Several short films incorporating actual footage from the 40/50s. Including clips from her own film appearances. Really interesting. The success of populist politics seeming very relevant to current events internationally! Rather a Peronist view of the political changes after her death. There’s a nice cafe with an outdoor area and small shop selling Evita trinkets and books. Very nice small museum off the beaten track. There were No large parties when I was there. Staff very nice and keen to have non Argentinians visit. Definitely a worthwhile trip and great for a rainy day

This is a small but excellent museum, it have around 25 cars but they are all amazing. In the hall of the ACA are 4 cars and 2 motorcycles. Take the elevator to the 1.st floor and there are some fantastic old racing cars and even a Daimler from 1892. There are different formula one 1 cars through 3 ages. It's small, it is good and it is free. Open form 10 - 17 on normal work days. Only minus is that all the information plates are on Spanish..
