My husband and I had booked a live aboard dive trip to Tubbataha to go to sea aboard Expedition Fleet's M/V Oceanic lll Explorer on 26th March 2020. I'd been dealing directly with Janet and Lars Chua who run the fleet. I'd read many reviews for this wonderful location, travelling with Expedition Fleet and in nearly every one Janet's name appeared as a great person to deal with. For the months leading up to our sailing date there was so much helpful friendly advice and super prompt replies from Janet. Very sadly on 16th March we were told everything in the Philippines was shutting down due to Corona. Airports, and all other transport, hotels, restaurants and all dive stores were to close. All tourists including us were given 48 hours to leave or we could be stranded there for months. I reached out to Janet by e-mail asking her advice and she located a private charter to take us from Coron where we were to Clark airport. It was only because of Janet's help we managed to flee. The airport near Coron Town had already closed, with the exception of the few charter flights ferrying tourists north. Tubbataha was the star of our 5 week holiday which was cut down to 2 weeks with the panic to evacuate. I am so grateful to Janet for all her help and Pete and I are determined to get to Tubbataha as soon as the world's restrictions are lifted. Dianne.

1 hour flight, 5 hours of land travel and 3 hours boat ride going to Balabac a secluded and raw paradise in the farthermost and south-westernmost tip of palawan. Situated in the sulu sea, Balabac is a group of 31 islands and islets very rich in biodiversity (one of the most diverse in the world), unspoiled fine sandy beaches, endemic flora and fauna and rich marine life. It is the last of the last frontier. Balabac is indeed a piece of heaven on earth.

It is definitely worthy being of “7 Natural Wonder of the World and UNESCO World Heritage Site” Apart from unique flora and some unique species such as frogs, bats, and birds inside . Its also recently discovered there are waterfall, massive rock and other sea creatures but not yet accessible by boat . 8 km long, but we can only access 1,3 km as you need special permits for further inside❤️ .

It's a pretty big island so I guess this depends on which part of the island your boatman takes you. We enjoyed the view and having a part of the island all to ourselves. It's a great place to snorkel as well. There were lots of corals and it was beaming with marine life…

This place is sooo much fun!! We stopped here on the way back from Underground River tour and I'm so happy we did. I tried everything, rockclimbing, zipline as well as zipbike. I loved all of them. The view from the top is priceless, the staff is nice, prices are quite reasonable. I wish I'd had more time there to zipline again. This activity was one of the highlights of my holiday in Palawan.

Inaladelan Island Resort, formerly known as German Island, is now accepting direct booking for campers and day tour passengers.
Beautiful sands, clear sea and overall relaxing beach vibes. We also experienced a baby turtle leaving it’s egg and venture off into the sea which was INCREDIBLE! And it was nice to see an area which isn’t too invaded by tourists and security which really looks after the turtle hatchings. An added bonus to our island hopping.

sabang beach is one of the most wonderful beaches i ve been to ,it is so peacful and so clean and it has the typical tropical flair with birds singing and the waves roaring to the shore clean waters and the nicest sand to walk on,i personaly love that there is no fences and all neighboring properties get treated respectfully, the life guards are really helpful and accomodating and their watchful eyes make sure that you are safe in the sometimes a little wild and wavy waters, another wonderful highlight are all the small restaurants the wonderful warf and market area and the very helpful tour guides and tour managers....great place to go for everyone who likes a peacful and close to nature beach envirnoment

Simizu Island is located right between Miniloc Island on the north and Inatula Island on the south, and is part of the El Nido Tour A. Tourists taking Tour A will have their lunch here on the beach. The lunch consists of rice, seafood, watermelon, bananas, and vegetables, perfect to regain your strength and relax from the voyage. We really had a great time there. For sure, I wanna to visit again.
