The palace was used as the residence of Quid-e-Azam's sister, Fatima Jinnah until her death in 1967
Mohatta Palace takes you back to a royal time. We toured the palace and it was a great historical experience. Exhibits change every so often. There is a small gift shop inside as well! We also attended a private musical event (pre-Covid). The site is very well maintained.

Islamabad being a new city does not have much historic things to see. This Museum has good collection of historical items and makes us reflect back to the amazing and also saddening history. You will get to see some old railway buses which are now apart of this museum and some items from the British and Independence era. The huge old trees around this railway museum add to the scenery. A must see place for people interested in historic things.

This is where you can quickly learn about the recent history of Pakistan and how it came to be, as well as the horrors of Partition. There has been a recent effort to capture memoires and remeniscences before those who can remember pass on

The Peshawar Museum was founded in 1907 as "Victoria Hall," in memory of Queen Victoria. The two-story building was built in a syncretic architectural style consisting of British, Hindu, Buddhist and Mughal Islamic styles. The museum initially had only one exhibition hall, but two more were added in 1969–70 . Any one who is interested in Gandhara Art it is a worth seeing Museum. The department of Archaeology has maintained it very well.
