This high hill, also called "El Mirador," offers a splendid view of the town below.
An minor interruption of the Boardwalk, but a heck of a climb up the street. Lots of history and old houses with great views.

These dramatic hilly slopes are home to Las Hadas, known as a "fantasy land."
This overlook was part of a cruise ship excursion. Very picturesque......made one wish to see more of that beach and resort. Wish we could have gone into the resort: from the outside it looked very nice with the all white buildings.

On a warm summer evening, the captain of an 80ft motor yacht approached my First 35 Beneteau sailing yacht and asked if we wanted to experience Acapulco cliff divers at night...on the sea. I thought he meant for his vessel but I was wrong. He offered to join us and my crew to see the divers from my boat. It was magical. And at the end of the show, one of the divers swam out to our humble yacht and displayed to athletic physique of a cliff diver aboard. My crew was in awe and thankfully shared many dollars with the young athlete. I can attest that the view from the water was more than I expected and hope to return to see it from the shore. Bravo!

If you are up for a little hike, take the narrow alleys and stairs up the mountain. The last part is a little tricky if you don’t go up the regular road as it leads through the woods up the hill. It’s fairly steep and just a small trail. Otherwise just keep following the road up the hill. Be sure to ask for directions as you go up the hill. The easier way to get up is to grab a taxi. Once you’ve arrived you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views! Absolutely worth it!
