There are about 20 different Ale Houses along this stretch of Mission Blvd in Pacific Beach. PB Ale House is definitely the best! The 3rd floor outdoor bar/deck has a great view of the ocean. They have several of their own microbrews on tap, and other SoCal and standard brews. The fish tacos were excellent. They come with a back bean and corn skillet topped with crispy tortilla strips that is phenomenal! They also have plenty of TVs for watching sports, and host several alumni clubs during college football season. Look for the Iowa Hawkeye flag, and you'll know you found the right place. (Go Hawks!)
