Nestled on the outskirts of the beautiful market town of Henley, one mile away from the River Thames, Henley Golf Club is the outstanding course in the area and is one of Oxfordshire's finest pieces of natural golfing terrain. Henley Golf Club offers peace, tranquility, customer service and a rather special golf course.
We often eat at Henley Golf club. There is always a special board in the bar and a good choice of bar meals. Good portions and a good friendly service. The golf course isn't bad either.

Just had a great round of golf at the very friendly Studley Wood Gold Club. I’ve always known the course to be probably the best in Oxfordshire (the greens were brilliant) but I was reminded today, how thoughtful the staff are. My friend lost his wallet and was (obviously) rather concerned. Baljeet and Ken could not have been more supportive and practical. The wallet was found! This is a course I go to when I want to treat myself

There is a licensed bar and restaurant.

We played between Christmas and new year when Tadmarton was almost the only playable course in Oxfordshire! Despaired the heavy rain in the preceding weeks, the course was in great condition. We had to play off mats, which I understand was to help the fairways complete their recovery from the damage caused in 2018 by the very long hot summer, but this didn’t spoil our experience. The course is not long, but is challenging and every shot requires some thought. I loved the “natural” feel to the course - it has all the very best qualities of an English heathland layout. The absolute icing on the cake was the welcome we received in the clubhouse. The menu was limited due to the Christmas period but even so, the food was great quality and the staff and other members were a pleasure to meet. I would highly recommend this great golf club and will definitely be back - in fact several of us are considering membership

Yesterday we played the green course at this beautiful golf club. The overall impression is that it is very well cared for with exceptionally well manicured course, clubhouse surroundings and entrance. We thoroughly enjoyed the challenging course and found all staff to be very helpful and good at their jobs. The food, eaten outside at very comfortable rattan tables and chairs, was well presented and good quality. We had the use of buggies which were of high spec and smooth to use. We had the pleasure of meeting the club captain who welcomed us and chatted about the course, club and membership. We will definitely visit again should the opportunity arise.

Well done the Coffee Shed team for opening over this difficult time. Great to have our morning fix of great coffee and the occasional bacon buttie! The social distance measures have been so professionally managed and considering the weather and the demand you have always had a smile on your faces. Tried the special Friday night pizza’s, two for £8, delicious Thanks again

What a cracking course this is and will only get better with the transformational work going on. The staff were really very friendly both in the pro shop and in the bar . We tried their new house wines which were really excellent house wines indeed. The new owners bought the course, we were told, in July 2017 and have really made a fabulous effort . We loved the Par 3’s they are a real challenge and we sneaked onto the new 4th tee box - this is a strong par 4 at 474yards. We all failed to drive the 17th and ended up in the lake . Next time we will know better . The members have reciprocal membership of Laranjal in Quinta do Lago as well as mates rates at Dundonald Links . Well worth the visit
