My six year old loves the activities and I love the neat items in the gift shop. From Christmas decor to homemade pickles there is something for everyone in the gift shop. The only bad part of our day?---flies were in the ketchup and relish bottles that are placed outside for people to dress their hot dogs. Obviously with an outdoor concession things like that happen, but it doesn't make it any easier to stomach. Needless to say we trashed our hotdogs and headed for Elmira to eat indoors. I'm thinking maybe the animal barn is a little to close to the food area, or maybe the flies are just unavoidable I don't know but I would definitely plan to eat before or after the trip.

I like the Waterman Center because it has nicely groomed trails and approx. 6 miles of trails if you do them all. Its landscaped nicely and the trails range from flat to uphill. Views are very nice also. You usually see deer if you go on a regular basis, rabbit, birds....you never know. Its easy to get to and there's plenty of parking. You can enjoy Waterman no matter what your walking ability is. There's also a small nature center you can visit and join the center if you'd like. They have different events throughout the year, that anyone can attend. What I dont like is that its not secluded enough for me. I dont like hearing road noise and unless you go way up the hill and in the back you can hear the traffic. But even in the back you no your in civilization.

I could spend hours here, just browsing. Even my boys (8 & 11) love to see all the great stuff. There are many different vendors, each with their own specialty, so there is great variety.

Belgium style beers were on point. Others a bit lacking. Happy to see they were accommodating for people with small children. Would be nice if they had table and chairs to encourage people to stay and relax, even bar stools would be good.

If you like Christmas stores then this is THE BEST you will ever see, the owner does her own decorating and she is an expert. her store not only carries Christmas items but is very seasonal. plus weddings and babies and anything else you would like for gifts decorations baby items Greeting cards. I have never in all my life seen such a magnificent array of gift items there is also an upper level that carries some antiques and many sale items. in the back of the store is a nice little coffee and cake cafe' but it closes at 3,30 pm so get in early. and prices are not unreasonable either.

This place is an institution in Owego, slaking the thirsts of primarily young drinkers for years. The oldsters are not afraid to step in the door either. Beers and shots all around...other than popcorn, no vittles.
Recently they have added a pizza menu which has expanded to include stromboli. Friday and Saturday nights you can order a pizza to eat in or go. The pizza is totally awesome! Roughly a 15 inch thin crust with a variety of toppings available. For the truly brave and possibly crazy you can order ghost chili. PAIN!
Otherwise, simply order a lovely pizza which is the right size and the right amount of toppings. When the pizza light is on you can order with a text message to the chef. The phone number is on the menu.

This is an incredible shop with all handmade glass objects. I was surprised at all the gift items, but I was awed by the jewelry, The owner of the store makes almost all of the jewelry; her designs range from simple to more complex and they are all gorgeous!

Great place to meet friends. I don't think this is open in winter but any other time it is great! It is on a roof so you can see all of Owego. Great place for a beer and snack.
We are a Farm Stand Bakery featuring all made from scratch baked goods. From Cinnamon Buns to pies.
