Ouddorp is a town in the Dutch province of South Holland. The statistical area Ouddorp, also including the peripheral parts of the village and the surrounding countryside (including Visschershoek), has a population of approximately 6,040, as of 1 January 2005. Ouddorp was a separate municipality until 1966, when it became part of Goedereede, which in turn became part of the new municipality of Goeree-Overflakkee in 2013. It is the second-largest town on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee.

Segway Ouddorp provides Segway Tours with guide. There are many different Tours to choose from. To participate in a Segway Tour on public roads, you have to be 16 years or older and weigh between 40-125 kilograms. At our location we also have a private trail, on which children (8+ and minimum 25 kilograms) can take a ride. Before departure, every participant gets personal instruction for safety reasons. Helmet and safety vest are required.

Then we go in search of the seals at a leisurely pace, along the way we also see the wild horses on the many islands. It was a real nice experience for my family. The animals were well treated, meaning their cages were large, they all looked healthy ... There is also a new playground for small kids (up to 8 years) which all seems to be safe. It is also a bit commercial with a diner and a shop, but there is no must to visit this. You can easily skip this. Overall we enjoyed this short visit.

Despite the name, you don't need to "Beware" of this place! Great Sand and lovely warm sea in the summer time.
