Folk Museum of Ota Borough

It is a museum exhibiting local materials and cultural properties of Ota Ward. Exhibits of various fields such as archeology, history, folk materials can be seen. Tamagawadai Park The Ancient Tomb Exhibition Room

A huge tomb called the old tumulus, which was made almost from the 4th century to the 7th century in the old tumulus exhibition room at the entrance of the Tama river stand, is reproduced with a full size replica. This is a part of the back circle part of the keyhole-shaped tumuli with a lateral hole type stone chamber built in the sixth century in the eastern province (Kanto district). As you can compare with the appearance of the current ancient tomb stored in Tama River Tai Park, it is restored as it was at the time that the ancient people made, so please look in the mood for everyone as an ancient person. Opening hours 9 am to 4:30 pm (entrance until 4 pm) closing day Every Monday (opening if Monday is a holiday) New Year's Holiday (December 29 to January 3)

Omori Nori Museum

It is located in the beach park of Omori Furusato and opened in April 2008. A lot of materials that convey the history of technology of nori making technology that is prosperous as a place to produce nori representative of Japan is displayed. Instruments for making nori are designated as "important tangible folk cultural properties" of the country. Shiro Ozaki Commemorative Museum

Ozaki Shiro is a writer known for works such as "Life Theater". It was the main character of Mumagome Watashi village, I spent most of the writer's life in Ota Ward. The study has been reproduced in the old house ruins that lived in the very last years until death. From 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on the first Saturday of every month, curator visitors are conducting a tour in the museum under the stance of curators. Advance application is unnecessary. Please gather at the memorial hall within hours. Opening hours: 9 AM to 4:30 PM (You can not enter the building, you can see the exhibit from the garden side, there are benches and toilets in the garden.) Closed: New Year's Holiday, temporary closing day Admission: Free
