We were picked up on time by Wojciech. He was a fantastic guide. From start to finish we were looked after perfectly. It is quite a long drive but absolutely worth it. The scenery is outstanding. We enjoyed seeing traditional wooden houses and 15th century Church of St Michael the Archangel. Rafting in Dunajec was pleasant. The rafts hold 12 people and it was quite busy. I recommend if you visit Krakow allow yourself 6 days as there is so much to see and do.

Such a humbling experience to visit, although was a key reason why we visited Krakow. So much of it is left to see & the feeling of walking through the gas chamber was eerie. Our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, helpful & friendly. We appreciated her knowledge & pace of the tour. There were a number of times where we were asked to be respectful & remain silent in certain parts, which really made me think about what happened there. Whilst what happened there was tragic, the tour and information was fantastic. It was split across 2 separate sites & as we had our own transport we met our group at the 2nd site, without any issues. If you visit Krakow, this is a must trip! Given the history of this place, it wasn't quite what I expected. It was humbling & just made us appreciate life a bit more.

Auschwitz is a symbol of the extermination of Jews and Nazi terror against nations. Auschwitz was also known as Auschwitz-Birkenau, it was opened in 1940. Located in the southern part of Poland. Auschwitz initially served as a prison for political prisoners. Auschwitz was made up of many Nazi bands. It also contains over 40 similar, locally available German industrial units. However, they were transformed into a network of camps in which the Jewish population and other perceived enemies of the Nazi state were exterminated, often in gas chambers or used for slave labor. On the orders of Himmler, head of the SS and German police. The name Auschwitz is also born into three separate camps Auschwitz I, Auschwitz II-Birkenau and Auschwitz III-Monowitz. Auschwitz was established in 1940 It was the biggest Nazi concentration camp for Poles and prisoners from other countries. They were condemned by the hitlerite fascism to isolation and slow extermination by hunger, exhausting work, criminal experiments, or to a quick death as a result of individual and mass executions. A place definitely worth seeing.

From start to finish this tour was outstanding. For obvious reasons it was an emotional and shocking day but a part of history that should never be forgotten. Our tour guide was fantastic (sorry, I cannot remember her name), the way she explained everything gave us a clear understanding. I took my teenage girls with me and they didn't want to say they 'enjoyed' the trip due to the nature of Auschwitz but it certainly will stay with us for a very long time. The communication and organisation of this company means we highly recommend them. many thanks for such an informative day. We went in December 2019 before Covid. Posting this review late. Sorry.
