Right south by Soly marina, you can get on a trail that leads you into the Southern Jeloy protected landscape of meadows and mixed forests in Reiertangen. The trails into the Southern Jeloy go many places in close proximity to the sea in a landscape where avenues, stone fences, manor houses and gardens, is the dominant feature of the landscape. Culturally, this has its origin from the 17th and 1800s were the farm properties were bought by wealthy families in the towns and officials. The properties were later developed to country areas with parks and avenues. This is how we got the Southern Jeloy that today appears as a country landscape.

The Tronvik beach is one of the area's most popular swimming spots. The beach is well located on the west side of Jeloya. The bay faces the north. The coastal path turns here or you can continue to Refsnes. On the south side of the beach you will find Jeloy torpedo test drive.

Sjobadet! Great beach right in town! Located "wall to wall" with the Basto ferries and the Channel. Sjobadet was the first beach in Moss who received a Blue Flag status in 2012. In total there are 12 Norwegian beaches that have this distinction. Here one can settle on grass covered ground or sand. It is shallow, but you can also find swim raft, slide and diving opportunities.
