Such a beautiful place, full of history and magnificent surroundings and views. We spent a few hours here with young children, starting off with the ‘kabouter’ trail (excellent for smaller children- 1km), followed by the 2km one. The plaggen hut and other signposted viewing points make it an entertaining and educative event. We enjoyed a yummy latte macchiato at the Peel Boerderij cafe, just after the start of the trail, off the main road. Go there if you want real, freshly brewed coffee in a beautiful setting. The information centre at the start sells a range of paraphernalia and has maps and other info about the area, history and trails.
