Koichi Fine Arts opened in 1996 in Higobashi, Osaka. Our gallery mainly handles works of contemporary or modern art. Over the years we have showcased many creative and high-quality works not restricted by genre or trend, such as paintings, prints, lacquerware, and 3D objets d'art. For the past 20 years, Kouichi Fine Arts has sold foreign and domestically-created modern paintings, sculptures, as well as prints to private collectors and museums. Each year we also participate in various events such as exhibitions and art fairs in order to spread and deepen art appreciation among general population.

This is a great spot to check out if you're traveling to Osaka, Japan. Beautiful gallery dedicated to international modern artists and local Japanese artists as well. Expertly curated. In addition to perusing their current shows, make sure to check their calendar of events as you may be able to catch an artist reception, holiday event, or guest lecture series. The staff is great, too. I had a question about the portrait, and he was kind enough to look up the information for me.
