This place is amazing. No fences no restrictive enclosures. They use negative reinforcement such as honking, yelling and banging on things to keep the bears away from civilization and positive to keep them on the sanctuary grounds. They are fed multiple times a day with a mixture of berries and nuts. The staff was very educational several people present and eager to answer questions. We got to see so many bears including Cubs! I would recommend buying your tickets at the visitors center before driving to the sanctuary. Also there is a gift shop on the site which has some cute stuff! Go early as soon as it opens to beat the traffic!!!
