Linda Vista Trail

This trail was close by the resort we stayed at and we wanted a short scenic hike to do one morning. There are other trail options connected to this trail, we chose the 3.5 mile loop that gains some elevation into the Catalina mountains. took about two hours to do but we stopped to take pictures often. We thought about getting a picnic and going up to a spot we found to watch the sun set one evening but we ran out of time!

After hearing of this venue from several of our friends and neighbors, we decided to a give it a try. Not only did we enjoy the Buddy Holly Tribute, but we also returned the following week for a Motown show and dance party. Both shows exceeded our expectations, as the groups were fantastic. The venue has several different shows every week, seating is comfortable, and food/drink service is very good and reasonably priced (the pizza is outstanding, and their Best of Tucson Award is well deserved).Every staff member is friendly, and make you feel very welcomed. If you've signed up for their email notices, they sometimes have 2 for 1 program specials, which is one of the best bargains around. We will definitely make this a regular activity when in Tucson.

El Conquistador Golf and Tennis

The Oro Valley Community Center - El Conquistador Golf & Tennis, located in the heart of Oro Valley, boasts three championship golf courses with enhancements designed by the original architects Greg Nash and Jeff Hardin. We combine 45-holes of exceptional golf with an extensive practice facility, 31 USTA awarded tennis courts, full fitness facility, 4 pickleball courts, 2 racquetball courts, swimming pools, a restaurant and a fun calendar of social, community and dining activities.

Reviewed By DLHirst - Detroit, United States

The El Conquistador can challenge even the strongest golfers in your group. Some tight fairways and only a couple unpleasant hole layouts. Views to distraction. Immaculate fairways and greens. Just remember not to expect early tee offs in the cold months - no golf until the sun melts off any frost. They will take your early tee times, but after cold nights, it might be 9:30 before you hit your first ball... Worth the wait!

Honeybee Canyon Park

Reviewed By robbygc - Toronto, Canada

We went at the Honeybee Canyon Park. Everybody told us that there were petroglyphs. Those who tried to find the petroglyphs told us that they had not seen ant petroglyphs. However, we were surrounded with cacti and mountains and rocks and sand. We found water as well. The sun was going down and I can say that this walk at the Honeybee Canyon Park is a great place to walk to enjoy nature.
