What to do and see in Orekhovo-Borisovo North, Central Russia: The Best Things to do

July 23, 2021 Flossie Demartino

The political, scientific, historical, architectural and business center of Russia, Moscow displays the country's contrasts at their most extreme. The ancient and modern are juxtaposed side by side in this city of 10 million. Catch a metro from one of the ornate stations to see Red Square, the Kremlin, the nine domes of St. Basil's Cathedral, Lenin's Mausoleum, the KGB Museum and other symbols of Moscow's great and terrible past, then lighten up and shop Boulevard Ring or people watch in Pushkin Square.

L-39 is still in service with the Russian Air Force as a training airplane, and it even participated in combat operations in some countries. So, once you are in the cockpit of the flying “Albatros”, you can definitely say that you have experienced a flight by a real combat fighter. The speed is about 900 km/h (just a little bit less than the speed of sound).

Tsaritsyno is one of the most beautiful places in the South of Moscow. It's a Royal residence of Catherine The Great. It was under construction during 20 years. The construction ended with the greatest tragedy that no one expected and even could not foresee. It is worth visiting here, to see the beauty of the nature of these places and try to guess a reason of the18th century architectural tragedy
