The Singapore cityscape looks like it was ripped from the pages of a science fiction comic book. If you’re hungry for a true Singapore experience, sample the myriad street foods or take a cultural cooking class. The Botanic Gardens and the Gardens By the Bay offer a slice of horticultural heaven, and the observation deck of the Sands SkyPark makes you feel like you’re high above the clouds. The banks and walkways along the Singapore River bustle with local activity.

Beautiful and colorful street! Reminded me so much of Notting HIll in London with its row of homes beautifully kept with lush trees and plants. Great to explore while taking a break from shopping in the nearby Orchard Road.

I was fortunate to perform Aidilfirtri prayer at this mosque. The mosque have a peaceful, cozy, clean atmosphere. The mosque community is amazing. Very convenient to have a mosque in this busy area. Masha Allah!

Spanning almost 2.2 km, Orchard Road is a swanky, tree-lined one-way boulevard flanked by distinctive shopping malls and hotels. The shopping belt comprises nearly 800,000 sq m of shops and restaurants and promises to please any taste or budget with its iconic malls which boast the full works - from opulent brands to high street fashion, and from exclusive restaurants to fast food joints. It is a great street to shop, dine, stay, play, work, and live.

I booked a reservation at Jurassic World Cafe on 4th December and glad I did as it was a Friday Evening. Finding the restaurant was a little confusing due to the horrible signage inside Ion Orchard, however we found the place. You will have to place your order at reception before taking the elevator up to the restaurant itself. Upon arriving, you place your order and get seated very quickly. I LOVED the ambience, from the chairs that you see in Jurassic Park, the decor, there's a life size statue of Blue the velociraptor and a lego version of him. I saved everything from the placemats to the coasters to the dinosaurs motifs that come with the drinks. We ordered the Jurassic World Burger (I loved it), Lava Flow, Mosasaurus Soda and Brachiosaurus Mint Papadam. All in in all, menu well spent and this kid got to see his dinosaurs. P/S: you only have 1.5 hours to dine and they will remind you upon arrival.
