The Baroque Palace of Oradea is simply epic. Now a museum, the 18th-century building is home to an outdoor bronze and marble statue park, Transylvanian folk art and a collection of animal remains that includes dinosaur fossils. You could spend days here, but try to make some time for other Oradea attractions, such as the beautiful Art Nouveau buildings of Str. Republicii, the astronomical clock of the Biserica cu Lună, and the Băile Felix thermal spa.

A relatively small parc near the city center, close to the city zoo. In this parc from time to time are fairs and exhibitions . But this is the place where during the WWII the jews of Oradea were concentrated before deportating to Auschwitz camp. This is comemorated by the statue of Eva Heyman , a young girl who was murdered t the age of 13. Her dairy was found after the war and was the base of the famous Instagram "The story of Eva" .

The zoo in Oradea surprised me. It has a great variety of animals, the park itself is neatly organized, clean and is simply a joy to walk through. I will definitely go back.
Living Fire Glacier is a cave sheltering the third largest block of ice in the country (after Scarisoara and Bortig Pit, also located in the Apuseni Natural Park), with a volume of 25,000 m3. It is a small cave, consisting of two rooms, the first and largest being occupied by the huge block of ice.
A beautiful park near Lotus Mall. It was recently constructed and it has some small lakes, playing groungs etc.
Hanul Pescarilor Lake is located 1.5 km from Oradea and covers an area of approximately 8 hectares. Over 50 years old, the lake is surrounded by trees, in the shadow of which nature combines with fishing. Over the years, the lake has given great catches of carp, mackerel, pike, pike or sleep, but it has made stationary fishing fun by other types of fish.
