A very modern and first class stadium! It is very crowded on game day and parking of those days can be a nightmare! Be sure to arrive early for the Eagle Flight and the Auburn Band Pregame Show! The amazing SCOREBOARD Screen is on the South end of the stadium, so if you are buying tickets, think somewhere in the northern end of the stadium if possible. Concession are ok at best and the rest rooms are passable, but go early as there are long lines at halftime. The fans are what makes the stadium come alive, so go! War Eagle!!

The heart of downtown Auburn and its university has been a special gathering place for college students, visitors and politicians over the years.
We transited Toomer's Corner numerous times over our weekend at Auburn. The small town feel comes alive during a stroll down College Street. The sights and sounds harken back to a simpler time! The centerpiece of the downtown core is Toomer's, and well-worth a stop.

Salem-Shotwell Covered Bridge was one of the few remaining covered bridges in the county. In bad repair, it was moved and restored to the Municipal Park in Opelika. It is truly great to be able to share this piece of history with the younger generations.

Nice park for overnight although our pull through gravel site was a bit tight, probably normal for a state park. Lots of great trees. We walked toward the lake and found that it was closed with no explanation as to why. We heard the waterfall...MoreWe thank you for your short visit. Please come back to stay a bit longer and we can show you where the waterfall is.

A craft distillery located in downtown Opelika, Alabama. Crafting seven different spirits and featuring the first legal whiskey made in Alabama since prohibition.
We toured the distillery, which was fun and very educational. We sampled and talked with the owner who was just great! Super nice guy! You feel like family, not just another customer. I had the best drink I have ever had here made with Elizabeth vodka and a muddled egg. It sounded a little strange but it was amazing!

Spent 3 pleasant hours here browsing the many booths arranged in isles. The booths were unmanned, but all items clearly marked & priced. Some stuff was overerpriced, some stuff was bargain priced, there was something for everyone. Foid booth was unmanned, free coffee was empty when we went by. We will visit here again, it was fun & interesting.

Enjoyed a beautiful morning in this great outdoor space surrounded by nature and the gift of silence save for a few rustling leaves .....nice playground made up of ecologically friendly structures which were enjoyed by our two year old gran daughter while several of us hiked. The Fairy Garden was simply delightful and as we hiked we gathered materials to return to make our fairy garden. There is a beautiful amphitheater, outdoor classroom and many natural spaces to be enjoyed by all ages. A worthwhile visit!

This small museum in downtown Opelika is not big but well worth the visit...two hours at the most to cover it all. Two Medal of Honor winners from Opelika are highlighted along with several historical pieces of the local paper mills. And, it's right downtown, a block from some good little restaurants in case you come in for a visit from out of town.

When in Auburn we love to stop by this museum. It is not very large so we can get in and out before the children get tired. They have traveling exhibits come through to show new types of art. There is currently a video art display which a couple of pieces were mesmerizing, but most were odd.

Home to several beautiful 19th-century houses.
Spanish Plaza park was created to commemorate the Spanish link and to commemorate Malaga, Spain. It is located between Church street and Government street. Beautiful statues and benches to honor the various cities in Spain were also present. A very pleasant park to know the Spanish connection to Mobile.
