What to do and see in Old City, England: The Best Shopping

December 2, 2021 Malia Yoakum

Bristol is a quirky British city with beautiful hilly vistas and plenty of historic sights to explore. Anyone interested in ships will have a blast aboard Brunel’s SS Great Britain, the world’s first great oceanliner, and the Matthew, a replica of the ship upon which John Cabot sailed to America in the 15th century. The graceful Clifton Suspension Bridge is another must-see.

Thought this was a fantastic place with two great exhibitions on when we went - interesting and beautifully presented. Friendly cafe bar as well.

After a great deal of research at home and abroad, I found the perfect item in Rag & Bone's on line shop. The highly detailed and accurate description made it easy for me to decide that I had found exactly what I was looking for. Even allowing for shipping to Australia, the price was very, very competitive. I was worried about damage during transportation, however, Mollie took all the pieces apart, wrapped them individually and then double boxed the lot. The parcel arrived safely with everything in tact. I am now busy polishing the brass and washing the crystal so that the piece can take pride of place in my home. I will definitely be watching out for more antiques that Rag and Bone offer for on line sale - almost as good as browsing in store. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and the service offered.
