Since 2011, a river trekking tour has been held at Ta Waterfall in Ogimi Village, Okinawa Prefecture. Limited to 3 customers per guide. Free rental of life jackets and marine shoes. If you have a swimsuit and towel, you can participate. Other than 7.8.9, wet suits are also rented free of charge, so they are also held in winter. This waterfall is right off of Highway 58 on a small road that leads right to the falls. There is a small area to pull off and park and then a short, and I mean short, walk to the falls. It's also a shrine. It's a perfect little piece of paradise to take in some shade and nature and reflect for just a few moments in our busy lives. This is also known locally as Nanataki falls if you see signs for that. Strongly suggest that you don't play or swim in the water since it's a sacred place to the locals.
