Whale Creek Marina is a friendly, full-service marina. We rent out boats and kayaks (single and double) for the day. No boating license is required! We have boat slips for up to a 26 foot boat, and they rent for the season or daily/weekly. Whale Creek Marina is also a great spot to go crabbing, and we are right next to a public boat dock. Whale Creek has the most full stocked tackle shop in the Ocean City area, and we sell fresh, locally caught bait as well as frozen bait, gasoline, snacks and drinks. Stop by today to experience some of the best of what the Jersey shore has to offer. We hope to see you soon!
The young man who helped us was extremely friendly & informative. The only problems were 1) the boat was decked eagerly and 2) it wasn't always clear where to boat or swim - or not (perhaps it was more our fault than theirs... Perhaps a...MoreThanks for taking the time to review us, and glad you enjoyed your visit overall. Do come see us again next season - we are always glad to see repeat customers!

Imagine soaring high above the Atlantic Ocean in a specially designed parachute while being towed behind a high tech speed boat. Our custom built winchboats are “state of the art”, utilizing a hydraulic launch and recovery system. This provides for easy take-off and landings directly from the flight deck of the boat. Each ride is under control for an effortless ocean thrill ride.
We told the kids if their report cards were good for the last semester, they would get to go parasailing.
With good grades, we had breakfast on Sunset Pier then walked the few steps to the parasailing. My daughter was nervous and my son was excited and they did a tandem flight. By the time it was done, they didn't want to leave.
They enjoyed the crew and said the flight was quiet and they could see everything. They saw dolphins from up high and thought they could see Wildwood.
Great experience, next time my wife and I go!

It's a great course but you will wait on almost every hole. I played this past Friday and with a 2:10 tee time, we were forced to quit playing at 715 because of the dark. We were only able to finish 15 holes. It's a shame they double book so much, because they really do have a beautiful and difficult track. I emailed the director of golf to voice me displeasure, I'm still waiting for him to acknowledge the email.
If you have 6 hours to kill, and enjoy waiting, then this course if for you!

A group of us recently travelled to Atlantic City to celebrate a friends 50th birthday. Part of the group decided that we would experience indoor shooting as none of us had experienced this before or used hand guns. A concierge recommended Full Metal Jacket which had recently opened so a group of 8 set off on a 30 minute taxi ride to Seaview.
When we arrived we had a warm welcome from all the team at FMJ including the owners and two dogs who were proper characters! From start to finish we were expertly guided in handling the guns safely and using the weapons on the range. Tutorials were provided both through group discussion and video and by the time we took to the range we had already become more confident in handling the guns. We were given a gun range to ourselves and had two tutors with us throughout to ensure safety was maintained and that we enjoyed the experience. We tried hand guns and assault rifles and by the end we were all hitting the target effectively. All in all we were there for 2 hours which flew by and was a very reasonably priced.
Our trip to FMJ was the highlight of the holiday and if I ever go back to Atlantic City I'd definitely return.
Thanks to all at FMJ in making this a great afternoons entertainment. Good luck for the future.

This multi dealer antique shop is located off the beaten path, but still close to South Jersey shore towns and campgrounds. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the shop is pet-friendly. You won't find a lot of new items or crafts here. This is the real thing! Inventory changes almost weekly. The prices are extremely reasonable. This is where the other antique dealers shop. Worth a trip to the country!
If you like collectibles, antiques or are in the market for interesting home furnishings, look no further than Treasures Past Antiques. The staff member was friendly and helpful and they even had a snack/drink out for people. The store seemed to have some sort of...MoreThanks for your nice review, Will. Visit us again soon!

My Wife and i visited on 08/16/2014. Small intimate brewery with informative and friendly staff. Tour is quick but cool. You can taste all of there beers on tap and purchase pints afterwards. Pale ale and pumpkin beers were very good. Met some great people who were enjoying the brewery themselves. Laughed a lot and even shared snacks. Others brought chips and dips and we brought phila pretzels. Bring snacks and enjoy your tour and tastings. Met two cool guys named Jason and Matt. They were only going to stay for a few, had to replace the water heater and wife and kids were waiting for them. I think we got them in trouble. Lol Definately stop by Tuckahoe for some good beer. Good people, and good times.

Although it has been there forever, we just discovered it this summer. We ate there 7 times! It has a look of an old fishing tavern but has some modern food and amenities. We went by boat and tied up at the floating dock. They can accommodate about four 25-28 foot boats but the tide does run strong along the docks so be careful when docking and leaving.
As for the drinks and food, they always have some special cocktails that are pretty tasty and clever and also have a good assortment of draft beer including some local craft beers. The food is both tasty and unique. Especially the flatbread pizza served on a cedar plank. We had a great summer by taking all of our family and visitors there when it was our turn to feed and entertain!

If you're staying at Sea isle City or one of the nearby south Jersey Shore beaches and want a fun activity, try a visit to Ludlam Island Brewery. Only a short drive from the Sea Isle City causeway, you'll find their brewery tucked into an otherwise nondescript business park (though there are clear signs leading you to the right place).
One in the door, you'll want to take the brewery tour (well, have to really, because an oddity of NJ law requires you to tour a brewery if you want to sample the beer - which you will!). You'll enjoy learning about how the brewery makes its beer, so the short tour is really enjoyable.
Then try their great beer. If you like IPAs, you'll be in heaven. You can sample their various beers and then take some home in a growler or a huge can (which serves two or more). Their tasting room is small but they're working to expand so perhaps next year quarters won't be quite as tight if a crowd gathers. We had a great time at Ludlam and will certainly be back next summer!
