All of our canoe tours are guided by local watermen and lifeguards who will ensure our guests safety and guaranteed experience of a lifetime. Our tours range from 1-3 hours along with snorkeling, education about the Hawaii history and ecosystem, canoe sailing, canoe paddling, and canoe surfing. Turtle's Paddle Adventures offers Stand Up Paddle (SUP) lessons on the Island of Oahu at two of the MOST SPECTACULAR locations in Hawaii. Both are just a short and beautiful 45 minute drive into the Hawaiian countryside from Waikiki. Kahana Bay is known as one of Hawaii's best kept secrets. It is here that you will begin your paddle adventure with us. Our lessons last for 2 EXCITING, FUN FILLED hours and begin with a short land lesson. Then we hit the water, launching in the CALM, FLAT stream where the instructor will continue to teach you different stroke techniques, stances, and turns while we tour the GORGEOUS stream leading into the jungle 3/4 of a mile toward the mountains... going around several bends in the stream, and ducking under tree branches. The session will end with us paddling out into the bay and landing back on the beach at the parking lot where we met. We have now opened a new location at the historic Haleiwa Beach Park on the north shore. This location also starts out on calm, flat water on the Ana Hulu Stream and ends in the bay. This location has many green sea turtles to paddle with. You will paddle under the famous double rainbow bridge that has been in many movies. Haleiwa also has a spectacular sunset which makes for an awesome sunset paddle. We are super stoked to spread our passion for stand up paddling, and look forward to seeing you soon! This activity combines the adventure of sailing the beautiful blue green waters of our islands and the unique cultural experience of sailing on a vessel that has been used by Hawaiians for generations. Great for all levels of experience, kid friendly. While on board, you will learn about the area, how Hawaiians used these vessels, sit back and relax or paddle along with us. Located at He'eia State Park on Kane'ohe Bay, we are a nonprofit eco-adventure program. The proceeds allow local nonprofit organization Kama'aina Kids to fund He'eia State Park.
