The Hawaiian island of Oahu is a surfer’s paradise, with swelling waves that can reach epic heights. No wonder, then, that it’s the site of one of the world’s premier competitions, the Triple Crown of Surfing. If hanging ten isn’t your thing, you can still enjoy the beautiful beaches – particularly famous Waikiki Beach in Honolulu. Art connoisseurs will appreciate the annual Hale'iwa Arts Festival, a celebration of local crafts, painting, jewelry, sculpture, dance, and music.

Hawaii Theatre has played a significant role in Honolulu’s cultural landscape since 1922. The mission of the non-profit Hawaii Theatre Center, established in 1984 is to provide a broad range of entertainment, cultural and educational experiences; promote redevelopment and revitalization of downtown Honolulu/Chinatown; and enhance the quality of life in Honolulu. The Hawaii Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and was recognized as the “Outstanding Historic Theatre in America” in 2005 by the League of Historic American Theatres and, in 2006, received an Honor Award by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Listed on both the State and National Registers of Historic Places, the restored Hawaii Theatre re-opened in 1996, and attracts 80,000-100,000 patrons a year to its beautiful auditorium. The Hawaiii Theatre is also proud to be recognized by GuideStar as a 2019 Gold Seal of Transparency Recipient. Learn more about our non-profit organization’s background and financi
I have long known that Hawaii Theatre has been recognized as an "Outstanding Historic Theatre in America and have often enjoyed performances there since it was beautifully restored and reopened in 1996. We saw "Allegiance" a musical that has been presented on Broadway and were again in awe! The performance documents the internment of innocent Japanese American citizens during World War II after the bombing of Pearl Harbor. This production by the Manoa Valley Theatre was the Hawaii premiere. The actors were superb, the venue was grand, the ushers were helpful and gracious, the exhibits were moving and the message of course, is one that we can not forget. We do not live in Hawaii, but travel here about once per year to our timeshare. When we are here, we always make a point to check out what is playing at the Hawaii Theatre and we were certainly delighted, once again!

The new "Rock-A-Hula" show is Waikiki's largest cast, concert-quality show featuring powerful Hawaiian and Polynesian music, hula and fire-knife dancing, alongside the greatest rock n' roll performances of superstars past and present at the 750-seat multimillion-dollar Royal Hawaiian Theater. The show opens 6 days a week year-round (dark Mondays). Cocktail, luau under the stars and gourmet dining packages available.
EXCELLENT SHOW Vegas style amazing performance, talented singers and dancers! They interact with the floor seats, walking and shaking hands. Don’t do the “luau buffet” - we got 1 free drink ($10 for each drink after) and cold food, dry pork and potatoes, and salmon salad is just chopped tomato with fish juice...

A Friday night pau hana (after work) highlight in Waikiki is the Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa’s aerial display that’s visible all along the beach from Ala Moana to Diamond Head and beyond.
Loved the fireworks here offered every Friday night! We stayed in the Rainbow tower on the southern side so were able to watch from our balcony, truly spectacular

Created by Merlin Award-winning illusionist John Hirokawa, the Magic of Polynesia is a spell-binding evening of stunning illusions, dramatic special effects, amazing sleight-of-hand and professionally choreographed Polynesian entertainment - all in our beautiful $7.5 million showroom in the heart of Waikiki. We hope you will thoroughly enjoy the show's grand vanishing acts, incredible levitations, fire knife performances, and much more.
This entertaining Show was one of the highlights of our trip. The Benito Box meal was good value and was included in our Show price deal. The hula and fire eating dancers were energetic and the illusionist left us shaking our heads with amazement wondering how he just made that happen! He also interacted with people in the audience and had us laughing when he incorporated audience members into his magic. The Show lasts for just over an hour and I totally recommend seeing it.
A light hearted roller coaster ride for families of all ages. The AloHa-Ha show will dazzle and delight you. Lights, Sound, Hilarity! Impersonations, unique robotics, and visual creativity that is eye-popping. The AloHa-Ha show will leave the whole family feeling good and wanting more.
