The Distillery Bleu Provence is a family business bought by Christine and Philippe Soguel in 1994. Wanting to support this industrial heritage of Nyons, and enter into modernity, the Company chooses innovation in order to continue the tradition of cultivation and distillation of lavender and aromatic plants in Drôme Provençale. An interpretative centre of 150m² devoted to lavender and aromatic plants, presents landscapes, the botany, the cultivation, the history and the distillation. Our guides will show you it thanks to two guided tours (1h00) and two workshops (2h00), certified Secrets de Terroirs – Drôme Provençale and Tistra.In 2011, a shop about essential oils and well-being opened and a herb bistrot.

The brand La Nyonsaise® brings together the range of wines of the cooperative, renowned, conventional and organic wines of character. La Savonnerie De Nyons is a craft company manufacturing soaps and cosmetics. Located in Nyons, in the heart of the Drôme Provençale, the company has a long tradition of soap making. Thanks to some 200,000 olive trees, Nyons has always produced the best quality olive oil and soaps. Indeed, it is in Nyons that the remains of the oldest soap factory in France dating back to 1591 were discovered! Some 300 years later, Erwan ALLEE decided to revive the passion of traditional soap making through la Savonnerie de Nyons. La Savonnerie de Nyons is very proud of the quality of the ingredients used and is passionate about traditional recipes. The company offers a large range of high quality products such as: - Traditional authentic natural soaps: organic Shea butter, Nyons AOC olive oil. - Speciality soaps: the DIY enthusiast soap, the gardener’s soap, the cook’s soap... - Two organic ranges of products using Donkey Milk and Argan oil. Mindful of its reputation, la Savonnerie de Nyons is very keen on using good quality products and is proud to be able to produce products which are “Made in France”. In addition, the company has commissioned an artist from Nyons, to design the soap boxes using nostalgic scenes from life in Paris and in Provence in the 1930s.
