My father was born in Nowy Dwór and went to school there. During my youth I had heard about the wanders of this region and the imposing fortress. At long last an old dream has come true and the view of the confluence of the 2 mighty rivers from the fortress' tower is indeed awesome. Property Developers are planning to renovate the old Russian barracks and convert them into a major Conference Centre
