We came to the chateau without an appointment, but we were welcomed in the perfect way. Very friendly people, who immediately gave us a tablet and brochure with all the information we needed to do a tour in and around the chateau. In this tour, you can learn all about the chateau, the family and the process of winemaking. A beautiful place with a great history. After the tour, we were invited to do a lovely winetasting. Great wines and very reasonable prices. We will come back!

A beautiful family run vineyard which offers wine tastings and vineyard tours. The award winning wines on sale direct from the Chateau. The vineyard is in a beautiful part of Dordogne with small woods and streams surrounding the vineyards. Besides the wine many visitors like to enjoy the wild orchids, glimpses of deer and hares and the tranquil views from the shady tasting table. Appointment for tasting essential
We visited this vineyard with Alex from ‘Bergerac Wine Tours’ and spent a very agreeable morning tasting a variety of wines after a brief walk through the vineyard. The owners (Sue and Humphrey) are from Somerset and it was interesting to hear about how they set up the vineyard and the production process. We bought a few boxes of wine to take home with us, being particularly fond of their medium body red and the sparkling wine.

Tucked away in the heart of the old town of Bergerac you will find our small, intimate pub. We pride ourselves on having 12 draught beers and more than 30 bottled beers. We also have a choice of house cocktails and wines. The PQP is also known for it's great concerts, open mic nights and Salsa evenings.

A really lovely family day out. The chateau was recently rescued from extreme dilapidation by the Guyot family, who have created a fascinating and entertaining attraction over the last 6/7 years. The building has been lovingly restored and filled with a whole variety of room re-creations. Of particular joy is the informal nature of the chateau. You are free to wander pretty much everywhere and in several rooms old-fashioned games are laid out for the children (and adults!) to enjoy. You can also try on some armour and chain mail. But that’s not all, the grounds are also filled with medieval type games to pass the time. Chuck in some horses, an ice cream and a cave to explore, we loved it :-)
