We skied trysil at Easter as a family group. We had a complete mix of abilities from beginner to expert. We love trysil because there’s something for everyone. My teenage son is a very good skier and really enjoyed the black runs whilst my husband and I were able to ski the whole mountain with our 4 year old. It’s a fantastic resort that everyone can enjoy.

Oslo's most popular toboggan run starts at Frognerseteren and ends at Midtstuen metro station. At the end of a run, you can catch the metro back up to Frognerseteren for another run. Korktrekkeren is 2000 metres long, and the elevation drop is 255 metres. One non-stop ride at full speed takes 8-10 minutes. The metro from Midtstuen to Frognerseteren takes 13 minutes. Sled rentals Sleds for rent (Akeforeningen) next to Frognerseteren Restaurant, at the bottom of the hill from the Frognerseteren subway stop. Helmet rental is free.

Hafjell Alpinsenter

Welcome to Hafjell Alpine CenterAt the Hafjell Alpine Centre, skiers can have a blast skiing down more than 40 kilometers of slopes at varying levels of difficulty. There are 31 different slopes ranging from green slopes (beginner), nine blue slopes (easy) and seven red slopes (intermediate) to four black slopes (advanced). The overall drop on the mountain is 835 metres. So whether you are a beginner or an expert, a great skiing experience awaits you here in Hafjell.

The area is very beautiful. I would suggest this area for the beginners as experienced ski runners might find it boring quite fastly as my friend did. There is a great variety of green and blue slopes for beginners and medium trained ski runners. We stayed at a nice house for 5 days. It is a great vacation spot where you can have your privacy. As any spot in Norway this one is quite pricy though.

Vikersund Ski Jumping Center

World Record at the World’s Largest Hill Before the Trial World Championships in 2011, a new, comprehensive development of Vikersundbakken was completed; the hill became a full-fledged K-195, and declared the world’s largest ski-flying hill. During the Trial World Championships, Johan Remen Evensen flew down to a fantastic new world record of 246.5 meters. In 2011, further development at the hill was done before the World Championships in February, 2012. The expectations for the World Championships in 2012 were sky high, and were met. With more than 60,000 spectators and a record high number of television viewers, this became the all-time high World Championships in Ski-Flying! In February 2015 Peter Prevc is writing history. He is the first human that have jumped 250 meters on ski. But the same weekend Anders Fannemel beet this record with 251,5 meter. What a weekend in Vikersund. We look forward to World Cup 12.-14. February in 2016.

Snowmobile Safari Svalbard

Join us for a snowmobile safari to the closed Russian mining town Pyramiden, in the fjord of Billedfjorden. Pyramiden was previously the largest settlement on Svalbard with about 1500 inhabitants. The town was abandoned in 1998, but the buildings and infrastructure is still intact. We pass Tempelfjellet, a magnificent mountain formation, and the Nordenskiöld glacier. We have lunch outside in Pyramiden. On the way back home we take a coffee break onboard Noorderlicht, a Dutch sailing ship that is frozen in the ice of the Tempelfjord. Svalbard Booking is previously known as Svalbard Snoscooterutleie AS.
