"Julebyen Egersund" is a yearly tradition where there is a big Christmas market. The surroundings are extremely cozy and it's a very nice place to go on a family trip. There is a nice hotel just 20 metres away from the attraction. This is an experience like no other! Highly recommended. Fourth time going this year.

Vintage and retro store run by top model Enok Groven.
I adore this shop. The venue is rather small, which gives it the "hygge" touch. Anyhow, the well picked selection is pretty big I'd say. Clothes are hanging from corner to corner, and from era to era. In "Slit'an! Vintage" you can get fancy little purses from the 20s, a cool suit from the 60s, an elegant blouse from the 50s or just generally cool clothes from the 80s +++. Enok, the owner is super nice, and not to mention helpful. He has a lot of experience from the fashion industry and will gladly help you find your way through this big little shop.

We walked through 3 times in our day in Bergen at different times. Great displays including monkfish (ugly), smoked whale meat (we had a taste), live king crabs and lobsters, sea urchins and much more. Behind the counters of fish were tables that got busy around lunch time. You could get a variety of seafood sandwiches, a variety of hot seafood, whale burgers, paella, reindeer sausage, etc. fresh berries of many kinds made beautiful displays at each end of tge market.

This is a charming market, with a large range of things on offer. You will find antiques, vintage and retro stuff, within wide ranges of glass, china, clothing, jewelry, both precious and otherwise. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, and there is a stall towards the back were they sell coffee, waffles and hot dogs. not to be missed!
