Went in to see about at a boat trip to take, and was helped by a very nice lady who gave me great advice after I told her what I wanted. She even recommended eateries in Paihia so we could take food with us on the trip!

One of our first stops in Whangarei was to drop into the i-sites. Great information, booking facilities available and very helpful staff. Got loads of information on what was available not only in town but in the greater Northland area. There are two in town, conveniently located on H'way 1 and in the Town Basin area. Settled in for a coffee on the H'way 1 i-site and used the wifi - all in all good service all around.
