The best place ever!! I go there every year at the summer, super entertaining and educational! The place has multiple floors, and each floor is huge and filled with activities that explain physics and science in such a pleasant, easy and attractive way. Every now and then they also add new activities which makes it even more interesting. would definitely recommend, this place never fails to keep me entertained. Been visiting the place since I was 8, and im 19 now :)

One of the largest galleries in Oulu is open for public during the summer exhibitions as well as by appointment. It is also the atelier of figurative painter Sampo Kaikkonen. It is located on an old farm in the countryside of the City of Oulu in Northern Finland. In addition to exhibitions the atelier space also hosts courses and events.

Raahe Museum is Finland's oldest local museum, established in 1862. The museum has grown over the decades and now consists of seven operational units. Two of the locations (Packhouse and Crown Granary) are open all year round. The Packhouse (Rantakatu 33) extensively depicts the Age of Sailing. Among its collections is also an exceptionally extensive set of religious sculptures from the 17th century.Perhaps the most famous artefact in Raahe Museum, the world's oldest surviving diving suit, the Old Gentleman - is now displayed in the diving section of the Crown Granary (Merikatu 10). Five other museums are open during different city festivals and by appointment. More information from our website.
The packhouse museum was really good. They have artefacts from local history including from old ships and brightly coloured old wooden carvings from Raahe's original church which are very interesting. This museum is much better than your standard local history museum because it has a wide range of exhibits from all over the world. These things were brought back to Raahe by sailors from the town. There are chinese dolls, statues, fans, japanese vases, pictures, lots of old coins, stuffed animals, necklases from africa, bow and arrows from south america and much more. Also, it was free on a saturday which was good.
