Kave Bar is just what it sounds like - a tucked away place full of hidden treasures. It's a cave of fun, decadence and community connections, complemented by exciting musical, culinary and liquid delights to discover as the sun goes down. Dark walls, chandeliers and warm mood lighting combine to create a unique atmosphere in this eclectic underground space. Had a terrific Sunday morning brunch - my choice of granola with berries was delicious. They offered additional almond milk (twice) at no extra charge. It was a generous bowl with lots of nuts and seeds, not too sweet - just as I like! Only $12. My friends had eggs with salmon and a wonderful looking egg and bacon wrap. Two commented on their delicious turmeric lattes. A great success. With friendly service and a comfortable outdoor take I'm really glad we found this place. The salads inside look yum! Will be back to try them

The trick at this place is to pick your timing. Three of my four visits when in Manly has been midweek, the restaurant less hectic and the food excellent. After sampling great pizza previously, recent visit took advantage of a daily special, fish and chips and wasn’t disappoint. Very simple presentation- three fish fillets(not sure what species, but tasty), chips and salad with a beer for $16! It’s great value and tased wonderful. The staff were friendly and helpful. You order at counter and collect food when a ‘dongle’ thing beeps. They have a different ‘special’ each day. Other family members had a great salad, & kid’s menu has good variety. Look forward to returning next time I’m in Manly beach.
