We took the Atherton Tablelands Experience with Adam and it was one of the best, most informative trips of our holiday. We happened to book on the second boxing day this year and think people were doing other things as we had the vechile to ourselves which made the trip more special Adam is very socialble and knowledgable and took us to places not listed, we got to see all the waterfalls, some hilltop lookouts and more wildlife spotting along the way. Couldn't have asked for a better day.

Really good coffee and house made scones for morning tea, then a fun 4WD through the rainforest to the waterfall. The fish and turtles come right up to the edge! Push yourself to get in the water too, it’s well worth it!

Interesting small bus tour with plenty of time to stretch your legs. Experiencing the rainforest in the wet seemed to make it 'come alive' for me. Our guide, Randall, was knowledgeable, informative, observant and appeared passionate about his job. His talks were interesting & he pointed out some creatures that we wouldn't have noticed on our own. He was also able to direct a laser light, without disturbing the creature, when they were hard to spot. The Daintree river cruise was exciting, our Captain found a number of crocodiles for us to observe in their natural habitat. His knowledge of the surrounds was impressive and he passed this on in an interesting way. We passed a few other bus loads of Tony's Tours and I noticed that the guides would inform their colleagues of anything interesting that they'd spotted. We've seen some of the territory we covered on this tour before without a guide and it made us appreciate how much we'd missed previously.
