Golf, sunbathing and fishing entice resort-minded vacationers to North Myrtle Beach, which hugs the South Carolina coast at the northern end of its famous Grand Strand strip. In the home of "the shag," the infectious 1930s dance that still swings through the local clubs, a family-friendly vibe prevails. Explore a nature trail filled with migratory birds, go for thrills at one of the local amusement parks or take in live theater. The mild subtropical climate means that outdoor activities are an option year-round.

Vineyard & small winery.
I love to go on Saturdays, they are open everyday, weather permitting, they offer vineyard tours, wine tasting and an awesome gift shop. The grounds are so peaceful.

My wife and I enjoyed our stroll on the beach. You can fine more sea shells there than in Myrtle beach. Lovely beach to go for a walk especially on a nice sunny day. The beach is long and goes for miles. The best times are early morning watching the sunrise or late afternoon at sunset.

Wonderful wide beach you can walk for hours, better than meditation, went there every day that the weather permitted. Stay here often when coming to the Myrtle Beach area. Like the NMB area best as it is not as congested and the crowed is a little less rowdy. Lots of families and not the party crowd like in Myrtle Beach.

When you walk in the door you will be greeted with warm southern hospitality and will be welcomed into the Duplin family with open arms. Enjoy a wine tasting with our knowledgeable and friendly tour guides, sip sweet on the porch with your favorite Duplin wine, watch our hand bottling as we did it when we started and stroll our gift shop for wine and accessories.
Duplin calls itself a winery but it is at heart just another tourist trap seeking to sell tacky souvenirs goods to gullible tourists. I've visited real wineries and this is not one. They might make some wine on the premises but whatever is made is produced from grapes grown many miles away.

T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station is quite possibly the country's only FREE living tiger museum. Located inside Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, SC, it offers families the opportunity to see tigers up close, through glass, absolutely free of charge. For those interested in meeting a tiger or an ape in person, we offer (for a fee)the opportunity to pose with one of the animal ambassadors for a photo. The animals spend only a couple hours per day, in the late afternoon, at T.I.G.E.R.S. Preservation Station and funding generated from our photos and gift shop sales help support various wildlife conservation projects we conduct worldwide through our Rare Species Fund. We are open from mid-March to mid-October and hours of operation can be found by calling our listed telephone number.
My family had the opportunity to go to TIGERS Preservation Station and it was a memory maker none of us will forget! The staff is so friendly and the animals are so cute and cuddly. I would have held the one monkey all day! My kids loved feeding the Tigers!

This time of year it is too cold to go in the water, but walking or sitting on the beach is nice. The beach is clean and flat, easy to walk on. The sand is soft and fine, and you might find a few nice seashells.

Visited here on our way through Myrtle. It was a blast! The viewing area is huge with many many reptiles to behold. They have hundreds of gators and all kinds of crocodiles. They also have lizards, snakes and other smaller reptiles inside.
We got to see an alligator feeding which was really cool.
You can spend a couple of hours here and not even know it. There is so much to see.

This large venue for shops, restaurants and entertainment has the feel of an old-fashioned fishing village.
Nice shopping center to stroll around and enjoy views of the lagoon. We even saw two alligators! However, if you have kids, Broadway at the Beach has much more to offer and my kids who are 13 and 8 were very bored. Our reason for...MoreThank you for this review! Broadway at the Beach is actually our sister property, so that is great to hear! We hope you visit us again soon!

This is a nice clean beach, relatively quiet and relaxing, not too crowded. Great for families. We like this area because the beaches are less crowded than the mega-high rise resort areas. There is parking and multiple beach access points. One of the best areas in North Myrtle Beach.
