What an awesome place to just relax and take in the surroundings, while soaking in thermal waters. Pools are at different temperatures to suit your needs, and are communal but clean. Take the time to do the terrace walk, it is great to see the thought and development of the Maori Village being established here. The steaming mini geyser surrounded by clouds of steam is really awesome !! In the trees around the pools there were Tui's singing and there was a Shining Cookoo also there in the trees.

My friend and I were here for a movie whilst in Auckland for a girls weekend. We were actually late for the movie we wanted to see, thanks to nav man or similar, however the staff were really good about, and let us in, we had a coupon that included a ice cream, which we asked to collect later, which didn't seem a problem. This is a very lovely cinema, theatres are a good size, chairs comfy and temperature comfortable, the restrooms are nice too and there is a lovely cafe right next door. Anyone lucky enough to have this as their local cinema are very lucky.

The Dark Room is a performance venue for Manawatu audiences and beyond. It provides a platform for emerging and established artists to experiment, develop and showcase their work in theatre, music, comedy, or improv. The Dark Room is also home to The Basement Company, Centrepoint Theatre's youth development programme, and SpontaneoUS, the theatre's improv troupe.

Amazing concert, amazing venue. Everything about the event was top notch, well priced food, clean bathrooms and friendly staff.

We saw Bad Girls of Burlesque at Fringe, what a fabulous show and the bar staff are friendly (and were very responsive when confronted with lack of loo paper in the ladies). They have a good variety of bar snacks and drinks available, we will be looking out for future events at Fringe. Highly recommend booking events at this venue, they are always high caliber entertainment.

After taking several international visitors to Rotorua, this is the Maori Culture show that we attend each time now. Any visit to Rotorua (or New Zealand) would not be complete without experiencing Maori Culture. While a 'show' isn't the real thing, the Sudima provides an authentic experience with plenty of explanation and opportunities to take part. The singing is beautiful and the opportunities to grab photo opportunities plentiful. We also enjoy the convenience of staying at the hotel so there is no need to drive anywhere afterwards. A great experience!
The Menagerie is a monthly variety show on the last Saturday of every month (except December) at The Fringe Bar. Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 8pm, tickets are $30 cash on the door or online through Eventfinder. Every show is different there's music, stand up comedy, spoken word, magic, circus, burlesque, drag, and anything unusual and entertaining.
