Potters World is a unique attraction, which is home to three interactive areas; 1. Potter’s Tropical Village- Our intriguing tropical village showcases exotic free flying birds, reptiles, invertebrates, amphibians, insects and fish in a jungle-like setting. It’s a captivating visitor attraction. 2.Potter’s Birds of Prey- Don’t miss our birds of prey aviaries where you have the chance to get up close and personal with some of the most beautiful species of owls and birds of prey. 3.Little Potter’s Play Tunnel- Why not venture into Potter’s Play Tunnel, the perfect in and outdoor educational space that allows children to explore and wonder at the world around them.
First time visitor. Its a little gem of a place. I will definitely return with family and grandchildren. The animals are so well looked after and John was amazing with the birds and snakes etc.his knowledge and love of the birds is plain to see. Loved the fact that the birds of prey get to fly outside and the smaller birds fly free around the huge enclosure. All staff were amazing and friendly. Food was amazing and the views and grounds are to die for. Excellent value for money got to see lizards, snakes etc out of their enclosures. Wishing the business continued success.

I just wanted to leave a review after our 2nd visit. We visited today, while the countryside festival was on. It was busy but we haven’t had to queue much. Plenty to do, things for all people, the weather was good too. I would totally recommend this place and we will be back

Situated on the award winning Longsands beach Tynemouth Aquarium is home to some amazing animals. See sharks, seals and some amazing fish as well as monkeys and reptiles! The new exhibit; River Giants takes you away to a tropical rainforest and brings you up close to some huge fish! Make sure you check out some of the interactive talks and feeds throughout your visit.
For a relatively small space, there really is plenty to see. I was pleasantly surprised to even see some cute Tamerin monkeys too! You can get up close and personal with plenty different species of marine life, which was great. We also enjoyed the seal show. The place was clean and the staff very friendly, so I cannot fault it.
