Visit Steam Machine Brewing Company's BREW ROOM for a constantly changing selection of fresh craft beer from our core range, as well as BREW ROOM exclusives. Interact with the brewers in the heart of the brewery. On and off-site sales available, including bottles, gift packs, and growler fills.
What a gem of a find, unfined real ale which is spot on, pizzas with an indian twist, surrounding is awesome...sat in the bar, or with the brew in mash tuns, boilers and fermentation tanks, alternatively you have the yurt to snuggle into with your ale. Utterly awesome.

Anarchy Brew Co. started life back in 2012 in Morpeth, Northumberland, and has built up a reputation for producing quality beers packed with well-balanced flavours. Following on from the success of core beers such as Blonde Star and Citra Star, the brewery has expanded over the past seven years to creating more iconic beers, in keg, cask, and their new 440ml cans. October 2018 saw the brewery move to a bigger site in Walkergate, Newcastle upon Tyne, with the addition of a new taproom playing host to tap takeovers, brewer meet-ups, gigs, DJ sets, and other popular events every Friday and Saturday. Beers from Anarchy Brew Co. can now be found across the globe, proving popular in Russia, Italy, Finland, and many other countries, and with recent collaborations with 7 Fjell Bryggeri (Norway), plus several more in the pipeline, the brewery continues to go from strength to strength.
I had the best burger ever from here, my friend recommended the roller derby inspired Tyne and Fear burger. Chips were top notch as well, looking forward to coming back here

Small independent micro-brewery just outside Durham. Brewing cask, keg and bottle-conditioned beer. Shop and taproom on site. Tours most Saturdays must be booked in advance.
Excellent beer, delightful staff, hilarious and informative brewery tours, and a pleasantly off-beat place to settle down for a reflective pint or two. And a chat. And maybe a bottle of something unusual for later. Can't recommend it highly enough. :-)

Founded in 2000 Wylam is a 30 Barrel Micro Brewery that resides at the Palace of Arts in Exhibition Park. Our Tap Room opens at the following times and it is always free entry and operates independently of events in The Grand Hall: Thursdays: 5pm to 11pm Fridays: 5pm to 11pm Saturday: Midday to 11pm Sundays: Midday to 11pm Our new home at the Palace of Art in Exhibition Park is the last remaining building from the 1929 North East Exhibition. The Exhibition was an ambitious project built to celebrate and encourage Craft, Art and Industry at the start of the Great Depression. Having remained almost derelict for nearly a decade the building has now sprung back to life as a fully operational working Brewery. Alongside the Brewery there is a Brewery Tap, which is open to the public Thursdays to Sundays inclusive. The Grand Hall plays host to Live Music, Weddings, Pop Up Events and more …
We visited for Sunday lunch the day after a beautiful family wedding, it was a perfect way to finish a wonderful weekend. Everything was spot on, beautiful food, great choice of craft beers all presented by friendly, hardworking staff. A great place to visit, can’t wait to return. Thank you.

Tyne Bank Brewery is a city centre microbrewery with tap room and event space. Stop by for a pint, tour or come along to one of the planned events.
Popped in with some friends early on a Friday afternoon and it was understandablely pretty quiet. However, we received a friendly welcome from a member of staff (Rosie). The selection of cask and keg beers was excellent and the cask beer was of great quality and also at a very reasonable price. It was interesting to have a look around as and see that the place caters for all ages and tastes. Unfortunately we could only stay for two beers as Tyne Bank Tap was our first step on a mini pubs crawl. I look forward to returning and staying longer.
