Culpepper's Otto Depot

Vintage lighting, architectural salvage, antique hardware.

A great place to visit featuring recycled Architectual and Nautucal items from around the globe. This is truly an interesting place with a huge inventory, all great for decorating interior or exterior, from a restaurant, Hotel, theme park or a private home or club. Plan a couple hours as there is so many items to see. It is located South of Franklin NC and a few miles just North of the Georgia State line on 441. I highly recommend this place for the retail buyer or the wholesale vendor. So many things at reasonable prices. It is very entertaining and fun to look for that special treasure.

Big Laurel Falls

It’s a beautiful hike, although super muddy if it rains. The trail is about 1 mile one way, not .5mile as the local maps claim. In fact most of the trails we hiked seemed to be about a half of mile longer than listed.

Bryant's Antique Mall

Bryant's Antique mall is located just across the North Georgia state line in Otto, NC. We're right on historic US HWY 441. With over 15000 square feet of retail shopping, there is something for everyone! Open 7 days a week year round.

Bryant's Antique Mall is actually two large buildings chalk full of antique and vintage memorabilia that will interest and delight people of all ages. The buildings are well-lit, spacious and flat for walking the wide aisles lined with booths full of everything from old farm equipment & tools, sewing machines, kitchen gadgets, dishes, signage, advertising, linens, clothing, pictures, books, toys, dolls, wrought iron, bottles & jars, and it goes on and on. Plan a good hour in each building, at least. Lots to look at, and the staff were helpful and pleasant. The restroom was clean, and there is sufficient parking around the two buildings. Very central to Franklin, NC and Dillard, GA.

Mountain Valley Center in the Smoky Mountains

Between lily ponds and a lovely flowing creek, 10 tons of stone have gathered to form a classic 7-circuit labyrinth for all to enjoy and use. Behind the labyrinth is a 'fairy forest' following the creek. We also have a Metaphysical Gift Shop in the Welcome Center.
