Since 2005, we've been bringing you the very best in toys, hobbies and collectibles, all with our legendary friendly service. We also run daily hobby gaming events. Our specialty is Trading Card Games - Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic the Gathering and more. We also run highly popular wargaming, roleplaying and boardgaming evenings. Open 7 days a week, including most evenings.
This shop caters to all gaming hobbies from D&D to MTG to Warhammer. I originally turned up to BSTS as a D&Dplayer, but since then I have played numerous tabletop RPGs and even got into Warhammer 40k. The owner and staff are a very friendly and helpful bunch and will help with any gaming conundrum you may have. If clubs are your thing then they have numerous depending on your preferences. Again at these clubs I have made numerous friends and if you are wishing to jump into a new hobby. The club members are on and to help i anyway possible. I recommend anyone with a Monday or a Tuesday free to pop in one afternoon for a game of D&D and witness the friendly atmosphere for themselves.

Family run business established in March 2000 and Ayrshire's ONLY five-star rated tourist shop specialising in artisan ice cream freshly made on site including delicious options for vegans too. There's an extensive selection of handmade chocolates and a choice range of premium spirits including craft gin, Scotch whisky, liqueurs, fine wine and fizz. Gift hampers are a specialty and can be made while you wait and there's a lovely range of gift ideas too. This is a must-see shop when visiting Largs and situated conveniently near the Cal Mac ferry terminal with in store tastings almost every Saturday throughout the year and monthly whisky masterclasses. Dogs welcome to join you while you browse and may even get a doggy treat if well behaved.
This is both a shop selling gourmet stuff and an ice cream parlour. Both are worth visiting as I picked up handmade chocolates and some chutney. The ice cream bar is worth visiting too with some unique flavours like Parma violet which had crushed sweets as well as being flavoured with violet. Vegans are well catered for with several different flavours. They also offer GF cones for those wanting it.

West Kilbride, Scotland’s only designated craft town, samples the wealth of Scottish craft and design talent. This town features 9 craft studios which are open to the public on Thursday, Friday and Saturday as well as the award winning Barony Centre, an exhibition, activities and events venue. In this beautifully converted former church, visitors can see innovative exhibitions, choose from a range of exquisitely crafted objects and take part in creative activities. Additionally, they can stroll through our picturesque town, meet our makers in their craft workshops and visit the towns independent retailers and makers, all located within easy walking distance of the town centre.
This is somewhere certainly worth a visit on the Ayrshire coast. Well done to those in the West Kilbride community for such creative ways of rebranding their town. The whole Craft Town scheme is very worthwhile and works well (with good signage and interpretation), but the real gem is the Barony Centre. A superb use of an old church into a light and airy exhibition space showcasing the local crafts, plus a very welcoming cafe with good coffee & food.
