Housed on a restored 19th century factory campus, MASS MoCA is the largest center for contemporary visual and performing arts in the country. Open year round with full schedule of live events, changing exhibitions and Sol LeWitt Wall Drawing Retrospective.
Conceptual and interactive art is exhibited in a series of old mill buildings. We have seen things ranging from a wonderful 150 ft dragon made of car parts that looked as light as a darning needle to Nick Cave's room filling anti violence creation.. Videos, textile art, holograms, interactive sound producing devices. Never boring in Mass Moca. We visit about once a year, sometimes more.It is a huge series of interconnected buildings and easy to get lost in but still user friendly.Kids space is great. This is a museum to introduce children to modern art.Good cafe as well

During Covid-19 we are trying to do anything that involves outdoors! When we arrived the GPS sent us right to the entrance of the falls where it's private property and you can NOT park, but there is instructions right there saying to go down the street and park at the YMCA. From the parking lot there is signs to follow through a cute neighborhood that is a quick .3 mile walk that goes right to the entrance of the trail. I have done many hiking trails with my family and by FAR this is the EASIEST!!! It was well manicured and maintained 2 little bridges to pass over, beautiful sounds and sights to see going up the .7 mile trail to the enormous falls. It was not busy at all and people were for the most part polite and moved over as new groups came through. Definitely will go again and take nature in!

Nice outdoor seating. Cool spot. Get the flagship IPA. So good. Right now you have to order food so get some of the homemade sausage from next door at “A Ok”. $6-7 a beer. Great experience.

I visited Windsor Lake with my friends from Brooklyn Street last summer. We saw a Celtic music group called JP Murphy playing, and they played some of our favorite songs. An added plus was that when a rainstorm came, they moved the audience into the pavilion. It was overall a great experience.
