A holiday in Norfolk is not a glamorous break. While the Norfolk Broads of East Anglia are a beautiful part of the UK, they represent a relaxing rural getaway rather than a high-powered city-break. Although its reputation is mostly rural, with people associating the county mostly with the wetlands of the Norfolk Broads, there are also towns such as Norwich and King's Lynn to visit, both of which provide shopping opportunities, nightlife and entertainment. Norfolk also contains a large stretch of coastline, and seaside destinations such as Cromer and Great Yearmouth mean there are great beaches to be found as well. Many areas of the Norfolk Broads and the coastal region are sites of outstanding natural beauty, and are also protected as bird reserves, so take a pair of binoculars on holiday. There are also popular wildlife attractions such as Banham Zoo, with a great collection of big cats, and Great Yarmouth's Sea Life Centre, one of the biggest of its kind in the country, complete with tropical sharks and conger eels. And of course, if any of your family are interested in boating, you'll need to rent a boat and explore the waterways of the Broads themselves!

We had an impromptu family climbing session with Mike who calmly and professionally encouraged us and coached us as we climbed pine trees 20m high and scaled climbing walls before stepping off of a 10m high platform! (All rigged up to harness’ of course)! We would highly recommend Mike as an activity leader. He was great fun and very laid back and brilliant with our three kids aged 8, 6 and 4. He allowed us the freedom to have the most fun we’ve had as a family whilst somehow feeling like part of our family! Thanks Mike for such an exhilarating and fun couple of hours climbing at the centre. We can’t wait to come back!

Get away from the crowd! Enjoy time in beautiful Weasenham woods. We have quad-biking, an army-style assault course and the ultimate high ropes* adventure course, all set in THE tallest trees in eastern England! Independently run, our high ropes course has 20 exhilarating activities and includes the 45ft high 3G swing (a massive swing!), plus optional fan descender jump and/or 1000ft zip wire - both from an 80ft platform! We also offer a real tree climbing experience, which can done separately or combined with our other activities. For those who are feeling less adventurous there is a woodland walk and we have a covered picnic pavilion with an open log fire for shelter and dining. Facilities include an under 10's play area (children must be supervised), FREE car park and woodland cafe. Bookings are by appointment, please phone to book. *The high ropes course closes for winter from 8th Nov 2018 & will re-open Easter weekend 2019. We remain open for quad-biking and assault course.

Our 5 year old loved it. Lots of obstacles to climb, run and jump all over. 2 mazes, both very good. One of the most fun crazy "golf" courses I've been on lately. Throw in the tractor rides and friendly staff, it's a great break from all the arcades.

We live a few minute walk down the road from Mousehold and it’s easily one of our favorite open spaces around to get out and stretch our legs. The park span two sides of a busy throughway, and has parking at at least three different area along it. The eastern half has a pitch and putt golf course which is pretty cool, as well as a nice gazebo and large ball field... along with the standard varied terrain of trails and bike paths. The western half houses Zak’s American Diner, multiple open fields, a small pond, loads of tree swings and dens for the kids to play on. Very popular with dog walkers, runners, cyclists and families of all ages. If you’re in the area, give it a go, and if you live nearby, well you already know how great of a space this is.

Visited here with friends for a delightful walk through unspoilt countryside with a unique atmosphere. A gentle stroll will take you through a huge variety of walks, all showcasing the very special Suffolk/Norfolk flora and fauna. Very informative walk-guide cards at the car park meant we set out with high hopes, and we did actually see the fabulous Fen Raft Spider! A great afternoon...
