This was hands one of the best day tours I’ve ever been on! Cerro Negro was a blast, and visiting Leon was fabulous, but what really pushed it over the top, was the customer service. My guide, Yasser, went way above and beyond to make sure it was an exceptional experience. He anticipated all my needs the entire day and even helped me with plans for the following day. I know I wouldn’t have had such a positive experience in Managua if it haven’t been for his help. I will be back to experience more of Nicaragua with this company!

Located on the north-western tip of the Tonle Sap, Me Chhrey village allows for an authentic floating village experience. Before embarking on the wooden boat, you will be going to have the chance to experience and enjoy the amazing ox cart ride at the village, be anxious with the vivid greenery of the rice fields, the beautiful skies with the scenery of the fascinating landscape. Continue to the small village is home to families who unlike other floating communities still live in wooden house boats. The village moves throughout the year, depending on the water levels of the lake. At the end of the dry season when the lake’s water levels are at its lowest, the villagers move closer to shore and live primarily from agricultural activities on land. By visiting a local home, you get a better understanding of life on the lake and your guide would be more than happy to translate your questions to your hosts.

I went on a halfday tour to the nearby volcano Mombacho. Everything was perfect, starting from the initial communication, to transport and the guiding itself. Leonel is a very knowleadgable, enthusiastic and communicative guide. His english is excellent and even though I didn’t see many animals that day, he gave me lots of insights about the surroundings and history. The view was fantastic, the diversity of the cloud forest was just beautiful. I would definitely book a tour with Leonel an his team again!
Because it is more easy to look and found the best historic place but too the information is very important
