What to do and see in Niagara Falls, New York (NY): The Best Sightseeing Tours

September 23, 2021 Jacquiline Delozier

A popular spot for getting wowed or soaked amid natural splendor, Niagara Falls attracts curious spectators and adventurous honeymooners from around the world. The splendid main attraction - more than six million feet of water cascading over a rocky crest - sits partially in the United States and partially in Canada. The U.S. side has recently been busy promoting other activities to lure visitors. Venues like the Aquarium of Niagara offer parents fun and engaging alternatives for kids, after or in between visits to the Falls. Outdoor recreation such as hiking, biking, fishing and camping can be found at the Niagara Falls State Park. The storied history of attempts to conquer the majestic Falls is captured at the Daredevil Museum; the Schoellkopf Museum concentrates on the history and geology. There's more to the Falls than, well, the Falls, including a wide array of dining and lodging options, from budget to upscale. This awe-inspiring region makes for an exhilarating and multi-faceted getaway

The busier our lives get, the more fascinating the Amish become. The Plain People, as they are sometimes called, enjoy full and rich lives despite lacking most of the modern conveniences we take for granted. While most of us wouldn't want to join their world forever, traveling in Amish Country gives visitors the chance to sample the simplicity and harmony of an earlier era -1525 Switzerland. About 250,000 Amish live in the United States. While traditionally they've been farmers, many now operate small businesses ranging from furniture making and baking to quilting and market gardening. This tour embeds the visitor squarely in the heart of Amish country in the picturesque Conewango Valley in New York's  Southern Tier where they will have a chance to experience and purchase food, culture and crafts. So slow down and recharge while touring Amish Country with us.

Inclusions: Guided Amish Heritage Tour, 14- Passenger Van, Hotel Pick-Up, Minimum for the tour to operate is 6-passengers

Exclusions: Gratuities

Steve was awesome at helping us plan a last minute wine tour in NOTL. His help and relationships in planning our custom tour was instrumental in the success of our day (at the time the Covid restrictions were changing weekly). Harold was with us too taking photographs which was awesome to document our day and our time together. We will definitely use them for future trips to the area and would highly recommend them. They think of everything and have such great, personal touch’s!

First and foremost where do I start. First our tour guide Robert was amazing and informative about Niagara Falls he was charismatic with himself and made sure everyone was safe and having a good time. I thank you for our tour sir. We got to see all the falls I don't know why people say you only see half of the horseshoe fall we seen the whole thing up close on maid of the most. I was very pleased how all the views were spectacular it was unbelievable experience I will definitely do this tour AGAIN!!!. Pricing was great as well for what you are getting there is another company that charges about 20$ more then this one and getting the same thing. I must remind you...you will get extremely wet from the cave of the winds and maid of the mist so bring sandals or slides but ready for an amazing experience.

I used to travel back home in Vietnam at the end of June, 2019 last year and I had to have a stop for a transit in Toronto Pearson International Airport for few hours. I think that was a new and exciting experience because when my flight was from Halifax to Toronto ended, I went to Toronto airport to transfer to the next flight and honestly, the airport is so huge and the way to the gate for my next flight is so long. I was confused a little bit about my gate flight and had trouble in finding the way so I asked the staff and they helped me and directed me the way politely. They were so friendly and hospitable to the travelers. However, I love the unique architecture of that airport’s building since it is very modern and amazing. There are many luxury high-fashion brands along the way I was going to my gate too. Everything is so new and modern. When I came to my gate, I found a seat to wait for my next flight, I can see it is so convenient for me since there are many tables with many tablets for the travelers to order the food from the opposite restaurants or to play games, surf the Internet in free time, which helps them “kill the time” to do something else while waiting for their next flight for too long. I was very excited when I found an Asian restaurant that is in front of my waiting seat with a Vietnamese name, I think, I did not remember. This restaurant attracted so many guests and I should have probably tasted the food from that restaurant if I had had time since my transit time was only about few short hours. The airport is full of travelers from many different culture and countries because Toronto is known to have a variety of culture from many countries in the world. It was an amazing experience for me since this airports helps me feel familiar with Asian community, culture and has many diverse culture so I didn’t feel lost and alone in Canada.
