The Newton Theatre

Reviewed By Lejaceman - Garden City, United States

Came on a cold, rainy Friday evening to see a show. No one directed traffic so it was a mystery to where the parking lots are situated. I decided to just park on the street about 2 blocks away. Not really a bad walk to and from our parking spot but on a rain driven night it was borderline miserable. The theatre appears to be fully renovated and beautifully restored. Restrooms are on the lobby as you walk in. Women on the right side and men's on the left. You enter the doors and must climb a few steps to enter the theatre. Nice everywhere. I only have one major gripe. The seats are only spacious if you attend preschool or you live in a town of oompalompa's (no disrespect, just used as an analogy). The SEATS are way too small. Smaller than if you were to fly. Normal size patrons even have difficulty! I'm not happy to drive a few hours to watch a show/concert just to be in traction! Sorry to relay such unpleasant news but it's really true.

Great Walking/Hiking trails and the Ranger Staff is great! Lake Aeroflex is at the end of a small airport runway and has a nice picnic area and is kayak/canoe friendly with an easy put in.
