Took the opportunity whilst staying at Ivy Lodge to go to the glassworks and make some glass ornaments. There are several glass-making things you can try. Book in advance, because it seems popular, even in winter. The owner and staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the whole experience fun.

The Newport Gallery Organization runs a monthly event "Newport Gallery Night" on the second Thursday of the month from 5-8 pm, February through December as a showcase of the 28 member galleries, museums and cultural institutions. During the summer months, we have free guided walking tours during the April through October Newport Gallery Nights.
