Once a shipbuilding city, Newcastle's flashier claim to fame is nightlife. Throw in a heap of premium restaurants serving foods from all over the world and it's no wonder young partiers choose to blow their hard-earned (or not-so-hard-earned) cash in Newcastle. While these amenities are certainly a draw for the hipsters and culture-seekers, it's the locals that make Newcastle a truly special place to visit. "Geordies," as they are often called, embody the pride, industriousness and resilient spirit of their city.

Since being refurbished the golf club is a first class venue. Openly attracts non golfers, with social membership. 25% off drinks; special nights, sometimes 40%. Layout and decor very good. Food excellent too, best tartare sauce, tasted.Since becoming members, we haven't crossed the door of the local pub. Bus stop right outside too.

Brilliant meal in a lovely setting. Steak had a smoky sear and served with the most perfect chips, a nice sauce to accompany, the duck was so flavoursome too. The cheeseboard was a perfect selection served with juicy grapes and a slightly overly cinnamon infused chutney, thankfully the quality cheeses shon through! Very enjoyable meal and such good value!

We came here for breakfast on our sons first birthday. We mentioned that it was his birthday to the waitress, Amy who really kindly brought out a balloon, birthday banner and table cloth. She was really thoughtful and helpful throughout to make it a special occasion. And with the chef, also were really conscientious to make sure my breakfast was gluten free. Lovely breakfast, will definitely be back again soon.

The UK's first ever Space Golf. An out of this world adventure golf experience supported by a fantastic restaurant and late night bar. Whether you are looking for a kids birthday party or a corporate night out, this venue is sure to wow the imagaination.
Visited today, got an offer of unlimited golf and a meal for £10 each. Really good, would recommend. The 3 rounds of golf were good fun. Lunch was excellent, so much better than I had expected. Fresh pizzas and the wraps and chips were lovely. So used to frozen pizzas etc in these type of places, but couldn’t fault it. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Will be definitely going back.
