A fantastic traditional pub with clean & comfortable bedrooms. A large selection of drinks, great prices & dog friendly (dogs are allowed into the bar but are not able to stay overnight). One of the best little pubs in Newcastle. The first micro pub in the town and still the very best. When it first opened it was a bit of a novelty but soon acquired its own locals. Now it is just a great little pub with superb staff and a constantly changing and well thought out cellar. Brilliant! I love it. So do many others.

My first visit and I was not disappointed. My wife and I went on a Monday, to try the curry. It was excellent! Very tasty and excellent value. The beer was excellent as well. With 4 real ales, including Sarah Hughes Ruby Mild, I was in heaven. Would recommend the Cask Bar very highly and I will certainly be returning very soon.

An exciting gin and craft beer bar, coffee house and bottle retailer in Newcastle town centre. The place to be on a Friday and Saturday night!
I've lived in the area only a year but this place is a real diamond in the rough! Staff are all wonderful, very friendly and helpful, and their signature gin-cocktail is genuinely my favourite! They have a lovely mini beer garden which looks really cosy and atmospheric when the fairy lights come on. Lovely bar!
